when testing the Schottky Diode with my metter i got 0.2V with the red probe on the left side of the diode and when the red probe was placed on the right side of the diode i got OL

i was able to remove the ITE chip this afternoon using hot air and board preheater. i had my hot air on the lowest setting with temp at 395 and the board preheater at 300

• post comment in below youtube video asking author if knows which battery contacts can short the ITE chip when repairing a ms surface 4 tablet.
  • this information would be useful in preventing the failure of the ITE chip for future and current repairs.
