Importing/Indexing database (MySQL or SQL Server) in Solr using Data Import Handler

download and install Solr from http://lucene.apache.org/solr/.

you can access Solr admin from your browser: http://localhost:8983/solr/

use the port number used in installation.

Modify index.txt with your output path and proxy info
Use Text Builder to build configuration for Surge: $ text-builder -index /path/to/index.txt Or run $ sh build-all to build all your index files.
Import configuration via AirDrop/iTunes/Dropbox/iCloud
