I think this is fairly important, as those using NFTs and crypto typically own their own private keys and thus need to own their own security (i.e. a bank is not managing their assets for them), and so the more they understand the technology the better prepared they will be to deal with phishing & exploits, and the less likely they will be to make mistakes.
