If your master.key has been compromised, you might want to regenerate it.

No key regeneration feature at the moment. We have to do it manually.

Copy content of original credentials rails credentials:show somewhere temporarily.
Remove config/master.key and config/credentials.yml.enc
Run EDITOR=vim rails credentials:edit in the terminal: This command will create a new master.key and credentials.yml.enc if they do not exist.
Paste the original credentials you copied (step 1) in the new credentials file (and save + quit vim)
Add and Commit the file config/credentials.yml.enc

How to use Hexo and deploy to GitHub Pages

1. Install Hexo

$ sudo npm install -g hexo-cli

$ hexo -v
hexo-cli: 0.1.9

The best way to download a website for offline use, using wget

There are two ways - the first way is just one command run plainly in front of you; the second one runs in the background and in a different instance so you can get out of your ssh session and it will continue.

First make a folder to download the websites to and begin your downloading: (note if downloading www.SOME_WEBSITE.com, you will get a folder like this: /websitedl/www.SOME_WEBSITE.com/)

STEP 1:

Install ElasticSearch and Java

2  sudo dpkg -i elasticsearch-1.0.1.deb
3  sudo update-rc.d elasticsearch defaults 95 10
4  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
5  sudo apt-get update
6  sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer
7  java -version

If you ever need to download an entire website, perhaps for off-line viewing, wget can do the job — for example:

$ wget --recursive --no-clobber --page-requisites --html-extension --convert-links --restrict-file-names=windows --domains website.org --no-parent  www.website.org/tutorials/html/

This command downloads the website www.website.org/tutorials/html/.

The options are:

--recursive: download the entire website
--domains website.org: don't follow links outside website.org
