How to use SASS with create-react-app

This will require only one dependency, and one line added to your package.json and it's super fast.

  1. Create an app wih create-react-app.
  2. Install node-sass.
  3. Create your base sass file inside src/sass.
  4. Add a new script to package json that will watch the file, process sass and compile it into src/css.
  5. Include the compiled css into React via require, this way your app will reload whenever the new css is compiled.
  6. ran the new script along with npm start.

Common Options

-#, --progress-bar Make curl display a simple progress bar instead of the more informational standard meter.

-b, --cookie <name=data> Supply cookie with request. If no =, then specifies the cookie file to use (see -c).

-c, --cookie-jar <file name> File to save response cookies to.

Mounting VirtualBox shared folders on Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS

This guide will walk you through steps on how to setup a VirtualBox shared folder inside your Ubuntu Server guest. Tested on Ubuntu Server 16.04.3 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

Steps:

  1. Open VirtualBox
  2. Right-click your VM, then click Settings
  3. Go to Shared Folders section
  4. Add a new shared folder
  5. On Add Share prompt, select the Folder Path in your host that you want to be accessible inside your VM.
